The place had a comfortable bed and the heater worked well during a chilly evening. A unique touch is the use of traditional brass keys instead of electronic locks.

The bathroom tub is very slippery, which poses a safety risk, and some parts of the premises seem a bit run-down. There are noticeable cleanliness issues, with grit present in corners and the towels being quite thin and worn-out.

The room was cool: comfortable bed, fairly clean bathroom. The hotel's position was good, in close quarters. Had nice dainties at Corner Bakery, located right at the property.

There were a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a mini refrigerator in the room, loved that. Had private bathroom with all essentials. Location: the hotel was close to Mathis and the lake.

The place was nice enough but I woudl ve been ecstatic if they had properly trained staff on service dogs and didn't bother me for IDs that don't exist. The room had terrible wifi, I mean, hello, it's 2023, and what do you know, no hot water. I almost gave five stars but just couldn't.
